The Modern TCO

One Course, Two Powerhouses

We’re Stacey and Tracie, two experienced dental educators and Treatment Coordinator coaches who are passionate about helping practices grow through better patient journeys, stronger communication, and simple, repeatable systems. Between us, we’ve spent decades working in real practices, supporting teams at every level, and we understand exactly what it takes to make change stick 

Our Expertise

Stacey brings over 23 years in dentistry as a Qualified Dental Nurse and Pg Dip Clinical Educator, with experience across general practice, maxillofacial surgery, Implants, 7 years in practice TCO and management and commercial sales, and leadership. As the founder of Practice Growth Coaching, she supports teams through nurse training, implant growth coaching and communication  training to improve confidence and performance. 


Tracie brings over 30 years in dentistry and 9 years as a Clinical Treatment Coordinator, She is Level 3 Trainer  and as Director of The Dental Business Academy she specialises in TCO training and mentoring, front-of-house training, Intra Oral scanner training, and practice consultancy, while still working hands-on in practice two days a week. 

Our Approach

Our approach is practical, supportive, and built for busy dental practices. We focus on what works in real life: clear pathways, confident conversations, and tools your whole team can follow consistently. We don’t teach theory for theory’s sake, we give you scripts, systems, and structure that help patients feel informed and cared for, while helping your practice grow in a way that feels aligned and achievable. 

The Modern TCO Course.........What is it?

This course is built for Treatment Coordinators working in real, busy practices.


It gives you clear systems, simple communication tools, and modern digital support so you can guide patients confidently from first enquiry to aftercare, without feeling “salesy” or pushy.

You’ll learn how to create smooth implant and aligner journeys, improve treatment acceptance, and make follow-up feel natural and professional. Expect real examples, ready-to-use templates, and scripts you can take back and use immediately.


What we cover


1) The Modern TCO Role
Understand what the TCO role looks like in today’s fast-paced practice. Learn how to work seamlessly between dentists, nurses, front-of-house and patients, and how to truly own the patient journey from first contact to post-treatment support.


2) Implant & Aligner Patient Journeys
Get step-by-step pathways for implants and aligners, so you always know what happens next. You’ll learn what to say at each stage, when to say it, and how to keep patients informed, calm, and confident throughout.


3) Communication That Converts (Without Feeling “Salesy”)
Use simple, human language to explain options, risks, and benefits clearly. Learn how to speak about fees and finance with confidence, and how to handle “I need to think about it” and common objections without pressure.


4) Using AI & Digital Tools as a TCO
Learn how AI and digital tools can support your day-to-day role, including enquiry handling, follow-up, and keeping tasks organised. You’ll also get templates for messages, reminders, and review requests to save time and stay consistent.


5) Money, Objections & Follow-Up
Build a clear structure for fee and finance conversations and learn a follow-up method that feels helpful, not pushy. You’ll leave knowing how to keep implant and aligner patients moving forward, even when they hesitate.


6) Real Scripts, Real Scenarios
You’ll get practical phone, email, and consultation scripts you can adapt for your own practice. We’ll also use live examples and role play, so you can practise in a safe way and leave feeling ready to use everything the very next day.

Return and Refund Policy (courses)


1) No Refunds

All course payments are non-refundable. This includes deposits and full payments. Once a place is booked, your space is reserved and course resources, planning, and staffing are arranged.


2) Cancellations & Rescheduling (More Than 14 Days’ Notice)

If you cancel more than 14 days before the course date, you may transfer your ticket to a future course date (subject to availability).

  • Your ticket must be used within 6 months of the original course date.
  • If the new date is a higher price, you will need to pay the difference.


3) Short Notice Cancellations (14 Days or Less) 

  • 14 to 7 days’ notice: one transfer allowed, with a £50 admin fee 
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: no transfer.


4) Substitutions 

If you can’t attend, you may send a colleague in your place at no extra charge, as long as you notify us at least 48 hours before the course starts and provide their full name and email address.


5) If We Cancel or Reschedule

If we need to cancel or move the course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, venue issues, low attendance), you will be offered:

  • a transfer to a new date, or
  • a credit note to use against a future course.


6) Not Attending

If you do not attend on the day (or arrive too late to take part), this will be treated as a non-attendance, and no refund or transfer will be provided.
